DJ Renaldo

DJ Renaldo is a Congolese producer and DJ whose sound pulses straight out of Lubumbashi (DRC) — the creative nerve center of Congo’s thriving electronic underground. Raised in Kongo Central and first known for his explosive sets in the clubs of Lubumbashi, Renaldo draws from local rhythmic traditions and street-born club energy to craft tracks that feel deeply rooted yet globally tuned. Now signed to Moonshine, the Montreal-based collective known for championing diasporic electronic music, Renaldo navigates seamlessly between genres like Congolese dance music, amapiano, house and Afrobeats. His style is raw, percussive, and unapologetically hybrid — designed for movement, not categories. DJ Renaldo isn’t following trends — he’s amplifying the frequency of Congo’s next wave.
