Overview

Chibuike Marvellous Egbo is a young Nigerian actor who gained international recognition for his breakout performance as Remi in the 2025 drama My Father's Shadow, directed by Akinola Davies Jr. He stars alongside his real-life younger brother, Godwin Egbo, with Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù playing their father.

The film follows two brothers spending a transformative day with their estranged father against the backdrop of Nigeria's historic 1993 presidential election crisis. Chibuike's natural and emotionally grounded performance received praise from critics and helped establish him as one of Nigeria's promising young screen talents.
