Inyamibwa’s ‘Igitaramo cy’Inka’ honours Rwanda’s bond with cows

Traditional music, dance, and storytelling took center stage as Inyamibwa Cultural Troupe on Saturday, March 15, staged “Igitaramo Cy’Inka,’ which celebrated Rwanda’s deep-rooted connection with cows. Held at Kigali Conference and Exhibition Village (KCEV), the colorful culture night was filled with powerful performances, particularly warrior dances that mirrored the movements used in ancient battles. Imyiyereko, a parade of self-demonstrations, saw dancers imitating warfare techniques, charging towards imaginary enemies with precise footwork and intense expressions.
