Spellz is a prominent Afrobeats producer known for his significant impact on modern Nigerian music. His journey began as a teenager with an interest in music software, evolving into a professional career around 2011. He has adapted to the changing sounds of Afrobeats by incorporating elements of house music, Afro-pop, and R&B. Spellz has produced notable tracks for major artists, including Wizkid and Davido, and his works like "Mummy Mi" and "Gaga Crazy" helped define Afrobeats in the early 2010s. He has received multiple awards, including Music Producer of the Year in 2013 and Afro Pop Producer of the Year in 2018. Spellz studied at Covenant University before focusing full-time on music.
