
ClassiQ, born Buba Barnabas Luka on September 21, 1991, in Bauchi State, is a prominent Hausa rapper and hip-hop performer in Northern Nigeria, known as Arewa Mafia. He began his education at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Staff Primary and completed secondary school before earning a degree in Computer Science from Bayero University Kano in 2009. ClassiQ launched his music career at 16, gaining popularity for his punchlines and a unique rap style that blends Hausa, English, and Pidgin. He has collaborated with notable Nigerian artists and showcases Northern culture in his music. His popular songs include "Gargajiya," "Too Much Pleasure," "King Kong," and "Yaran Zamani" featuring Ice Prince.
