Asmaa Abulyazeid is an Egyptian actress and singer who gained prominence in 2017 for her role as Toka in the TV series "This Evening." She has participated in various series and films and was a member of the musical band "Bahgaga". Born in Cairo, Egypt, Abulyazeid developed an early interest in acting but faced limitations due to the lack of school theater. She eventually found her opportunity in college, training at the "Theater Atelier" under director Shadi Daly, where she took part in numerous solo performances. Her notable early works include performances in "Life is Beautiful in Fine Arts" and "Antar Stable." In 2014, she landed a small role in the series "I Loved," and later, producer Ahmed Medhat Sadeq selected her for the larger role of Toka after successful auditions. Additionally, she ventured into directing, with her first project being the play "Melodrama" in 2013, alongside assisting in other productions.
