Kenyan-born Ugandan singer One Kasolo aims to inspire the next generation with his music

One Kasolo, real name Gimei Dickson Kasolo is a 28-year-old singer born on 2nd September 1996. Despite being born in Kenya, One Kasolo is a Ugandan from Sironko District which is found in the Eastern region of Uganda. He juggles music with other businesses to make ends meet including being an electrician. “I am also an electrician and businessman,” he told Mbu. One Kasolo is known to many in the music circles because of his affiliation with Bobi Wine’s Firebase Crew having been raised in Kamwokya. He is also close friends with Dax Vibez. “I am inspired by positive people around me and have seen them reach their goals,” he says.
