
Amaka Okwuoha, professionally known as Chioma Jesus, is a Nigerian gospel singer born on February 12, 1972. She gained fame with her 2003 song "Chioma," which also inspired her stage name. Chioma Jesus, of Igbo heritage, was raised in a Christian home and was the eldest of seven siblings. Before pursuing music, she worked as a trader and began her musical career in her church choir at a young age. Recognized for her indigenous gospel music, she has produced hit songs like "Praise," "Okemmuo," and "Na God I Dey Praise." She has collaborated with several notable gospel artists and co-headlined The Experience from 2013 to 2019. Chioma Jesus is married and has three children, and she founded the Inheritance of Mercy Foundation.
