Al-Sadiqi wins the Arab Book Award in Doha
Dr. Muhammad Al-Sadiqi, Professor of Islamic Theology and Philosophy at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities - Dhar Al-Mahraz in Fez, won the Arab Book Award in the Qatari city of Doha for his book “Existence and Essence between Abu Ali Ibn Sina and Fakhr al-Din al-Razi.” Al-Sadiqi won second place in the Social and Philosophical Sciences Department in the annual competition, in which a number of researchers and students from various cognitive disciplines written in the Arabic language participated. “Existence and Essence between Abu Ali Ibn Sina and Fakhr al-Din al-Razi” is a book in the field of theology, published by the Ihya Center for Research and Studies and the Foundation for Research in Philosophy and Science in Islamic Contexts.

"Shabab Imraa" TV Adaptation Unveils Poster
The official poster for Egyptian actress Ghada Abdel Razek's upcoming TV adaptation of the 1956 film "Shabab Imraa" has been unveiled. "Shabab Imraa" is one of the 100 most important films in the history of Egyptian cinema. It featured a starry cast that included the likes of Shadya, Taheyya Kariokka, Shokry Sarhan, Abdel Wareth Asar, Serag Mounir, and Fardos Mohamed. Salah Abu Seif directed the pic from a script he co-wrote alongside Amin Yousseff Ghurab and Sayid Bidir. It was screened at the 1956 Cannes Film Festival. "Shabab Imraa" chronicles the life of Imam Biltagy Hassanein (Sarhan), a young man from the countryside to study in Cairo. He rents a house in the Al-Khalifa neighborhood from a woman called Shafaat (Kariokka), who seduces him and causes him to fall back on his studies.
