
Akin Lewis, born in 1957 in Ibadan, Nigeria, is a prominent actor, director, and producer. He started acting in 1973 and gained fame from the sitcoms "Why Worry" and "Koko Close," winning best actor in 1982. Lewis also starred in the 2005 film "Madam Dearest," and has been involved in various productions throughout his career, including the soap opera "Tinsel" and the movie "Heroes and Zeroes." He celebrated 40 years in theater in 2013. Lewis married in 1987 and has children. His recent works include "Freedom Way" and "King of Boys: The Return of the King." He received the Audio Visual Awards for best actor in 2010.
