Only Don Jazzy understands music label business – Shade Ladipo speaks on Spyro and Paulo issue

Media personality Shade Ladipo believes that music producer Don Jazzy is the only individual who truly understands the music label business. Ladipo made this statement after Spyro claimed that his former boss and music executive, Paul Okoye, never paid him while he was signed to his record label. While speaking in an interview with Echoroom, Spyro said, “Myself and my partner, we were signed to a record label. My record label was owned by a billionaire, he had about three Rolls Royce. I was signed and nothing was happening; I was not even getting a dime. “If I needed money, I had to go borrow money for him to return. I mean he is a nice person, but I do not think he understands the label business as at then, I do not know about now.” In response to Spyro’s comment, Paulo said that despite investing N12 million in Spyro over two years, he never made any returns.
