Mama Esther composes tribute song for Empress Gifty’s mother ahead of funeral
Renowned Ghanaian gospel singer Mama Esther has dedicated a song to the late mother of her colleague, Empress Gifty.
In a post shared by Zionfelix on January 16, 2025, Mama Esther expressed in her tribute song how the sudden passing of Evangelist Agnes Aba Annan, known as “Agaga,” has deeply affected her daughter, Empress Gifty.
Mama Esther also acknowledged the shock and sorrow felt by many, including church members and those within the creative arts community, following Agaga’s untimely death.
Empress Gifty had announced the loss of her mother on December 14, 2024, via social media.
Recently, Empress Gifty shared details about the funeral arrangements, revealing that her mother would be laid to rest on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the Tema Community 8 school park.
She also invited sympathisers to join her in mourning as she bids her final farewell to her beloved mother.
