Sarkodie sheds tears, endorses Kweku Smoke as best rapper of the year

Ghanaian rap icon Sarkodie delivered an emotional endorsement of young artist Kweku Smoke during the latter's "Revival Concert" on December 18, 2024, at Ghud Park in Accra. Sarkodie, making a surprise appearance, praised Kweku Smoke for his dedication and resilience in the music industry. He recounted their first meeting, stating, "The first time I met Kweku Smoke at my house and listened to his song, I was so impressed that I recorded three verses on the spot. That’s the first time I’ve done that for any artist, and it shows how talented this boy is."
