Cityman

Cityman, born Abubakar Ishaq Abiodun, is a Nigerian singer-songwriter who is steadily making a name for himself in the Afrobeats scene. Born in Lagos, he officially launched his music career in 2016 at the age of 18, initially finding his footing by performing covers before transitioning to creating his own original music.

His breakthrough in the industry came in 2019 with the release of his debut single, "Sisi Maria" (featuring FJB), which introduced listeners to his melodic Afrobeats style. Since then, Cityman has maintained a consistent output, earning recognition through collaborations with prominent artists like Seyi Vibez and Lyta. His 2021 EP, Out Of The Ghetto, cemented his status by exploring themes of ambition, resilience, and life in the streets.
